A trip to Namibia is a trip to the soul of Africa. The silence, wide open skies and vast vistas stretching into endless horizons all combine to create a sense of timelessness with a life and unbelievable beauty of its own.
The two most well -known landmarks of this ancient dry land are Etosha Park with its vast saltpans teaming with wildlife and the Namib Desert, the oldest desert in the world, with the towering sand dunes of Sossusvlei displaying every hue of orangey red from dawn to sunset. The dramatic landscapes continue into the mountainous center of the country where desert rhino and elephant roam, rock art paintings from the first people are found and the Fish River Canyon takes your breath away.
Namibia is a star gazing and photographer’s dream but has something for everyone.
WE LOVE that Namibia features many green sustainable lodges and reserves.
